The International Year of Sound has been extended to 2021.
The deadlines for the Students Competition have been postponed.
Participants must send items to the IYS2020 National Representative by 30 April 2021.
Each IYS2020 National Representative sends their three finalists' items to the ICA IYS2020 Steering Committee by 31 May 2021.
Evaluation from the Expert Jury and Web Jury takes place from 1 June 2021 to 15 July 2021.
Winners and awarded items are announced by 15 September 2021.

In the light of the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, together with the ICA, we believe that a second extension of the Students Competition is necessary.
Please find below the new Revised Deadlines:
- Participants must send items to the IYS2020 National Representative by 30 April 2021 - Each IYS2020 National Representative selects their three finalists, awarded as National winners, and send their items to the ICA IYS2020 Steering Committee (Competition Coordinator Office) by 31 May 2021 - Evaluation from Expert Jury and Web Jury takes place from 1 June 2021 to 15 July 2021 - Winners and awarded items are announced by 15 September 2021
