The N Ireland government is consulting on an updated Noise Action Plan for industry.
The Department of Agriculture, the Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) will deliver obligations under NI Environmental Noise Regulations 2006.
The action plan analyzes the results of noise mapping for the Belfast agglomeration.
The plan aims to identify the numbers of people affected by the highest levels of industrial noise.
It is proposed to target the 1% affected by highest noise levels for further investigation.
The consultation is open.
The consultation closes on August 28th.
